I'm 22 and, although from England, have enjoyed time spent working abroad in various countries in Europe over the last 7 years. I spent the longest chunk of time in Estonia four years ago and picked up some everyday phrases, but could read/understand more than I could actually speak. However, I have received an opportunity to go back there on a long term basis (probably minimum of five years) and although I don't know for certain if I'll take it, it looks like I probably will, and I'd love to move back over with a working understanding of basic Estonian. It always pays to have a headstart!
